I build systems where every part has to agree with the others. Kigali, Rwanda — available for remote roles.

Sole engineer on a multi-tenant restaurant management platform — inventory, double-entry accounting, multi-channel payments, real-time fiscal compliance with Rwanda's tax authority. 28 modules, 3 apps on 1 API. Audited it end to end, rated 53 issues by severity, closed all of them: tenant isolation, ledger immutability, correct revenue recognition.
Shipped inside a live codebase built by others on WithinTech Learn, a remote team split across the US and Rwanda — gated course progression, quizzes, automated email engagement. Added French and Kinyarwanda to an English-only app. 750+ students, 250+ certificates.
Built SubTrack solo: a subscription tracker with a Next.js web app and an Expo mobile app built independently against one documented Nest.js API. Multi-currency, scheduled jobs, Gmail-based detection — including a scheduled job designed to stay correct on hosting that sleeps, because that's the kind of failure that silently corrupts data if nobody thinks about it.
Stack: TypeScript across the board — Next.js, Nest.js, Expo React Native, PostgreSQL/TypeORM. Strict typing, versioned migrations, contract-first APIs.
Currently: writing up how I govern AI coding agents on financial codebases, and what a renewal-date engine teaches you about timezones.
