round robin wish
[edit]Hey folks - a page mover suggested a wish to "perform" a round robin page move with one action, instead of two.

Explain redirect suppression #9
[edit]Immediately below the table, there's nothing saying that criterion #9 must be explained; I anticipated such a warning and was surprised to find it elsewhere in the section. What if we removed the final sentence of this section, and then added (immediately below the table) a stronger warning: something like "If you use the final criterion, you must explain which speedy deletion criterion it meets, and how"? We don't want someone omitting such an explanation merely because he doesn't notice the bit at the end of the section.
Lest anyone wonder — this doesn't arise from a dispute. I had no idea that we had codified any criteria of this sort until just now, when someone suggested move-without-redirect in an RFD and said "it would meet this criterion". Nyttend (talk) 03:41, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- I haven't ever seen someone just cite WP:PMRC#9 in a move summary (which is about as vague as deleting a page "per WP:CSD"). Within the WP:PMRC#9 table row itself there could be a note "Note: Identify the relevant criteria for speedy deletion in your move summary." like the one in WP:PMRC#5.
- Honestly though, people usually don't specify any criterion, whether a PMRC or CSD. (I inserted—or at least moved and generalized—this suggestion only last May.) ~ Jenson (SilverLocust 💬) 04:40, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
Conduct expectations

I note that your section on Page move disputes says “moves should be reverted upon request if they prove to be controversial”; what is the remedy where the page mover declines such a request? Moonraker12 (talk) 15:37, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- It depends on the particular circumstances. If the move you're contesting was a unilateral bold move, you can make a request at WP:RM/TR to ask another page mover to revert it. If the move you're contesting was done to implement the closure of a full RM discussion, though, you'd need to go to move review to have the discussion closure reviewed. - I'd second that; if the PGM declines the request then RM/TR would be the place to get it reversed until such time as an RM gets created. Primefac (talk) 17:39, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
