Draft:Aryan Gupta — request to review indefinite create-protection

Hello. In March 2023 you create-protected Draft:Aryan Gupta indefinitely with the reason "Repeatedly recreated", following G11 deletions in December 2021 and March 2023 that the log describes as self-written vanity pages.

I believe those creations concerned a different person of the same name. The subject I would like to write about was born in 2008 — he was twelve at the time of the 2021 deletions and fourteen in March 2023, and had no public profile then. He first received press coverage in January 2025, and was covered nationally in July 2026 when he obtained All India Rank 1 in NEET (UG), the Indian national medical entrance examination. "Aryan Gupta" is a very common name in India, so I think the title has simply been carrying a lock aimed at someone else.

I have written a draft in my userspace at User:Hernias/Aryan Gupta. It is sourced entirely to independent published reporting — three separate articles in The Tribune spanning eighteen months, plus Business Standard, Gulf News, ETV Bharat and others. I have deliberately excluded ANI and its syndications, Zee News, India TV, and all coaching and exam-preparation portals, as unreliable. I have also omitted the subject's date of birth, his parents' names, and anything appearing only on his own social media, per WP:BLPPRIVACY — he was 17 at the time of the result.

For transparency: I have a connection to the subject. His father is a professional colleague at the hospital where I work. I have noted this on my talk page, and I have not attempted to create the article directly or under any variant title.

Would you be willing to look at the userspace draft and, if you think it reasonable, either unprotect the title or lower the protection so it can go through Articles for Creation in the normal way? I am entirely content for it to be declined on its merits — WP:BLP1E is a fair question here and I have set out my argument on the draft's talk page. I would just prefer it be assessed on what it says rather than blocked by a 2023 protection aimed at a different person.

@Hernias:, as you assumed, that Aryan Gupta is a different person, and the protection, three years old, seems redundant now. We don't have an existing article with the same name either.
