Before removing my previous edits, I encourage you to watch JC Chasez’s appearance from this November on the podcast I’ve Never Said This Before. During the interview, Chasez clarified that the group has no plans to reunite, citing Justin Timberlake’s ongoing solo career and Chasez’s current focus on theatrical music. Chasez, who has been frequently asked about *NSYNC’s future, reiterated that there are no plans for a reunion. *NSYNC has not been an active group since their one off appearance at Justin Timberlakes ONO show in march 2024. 152.115.75.142 (talk) 14:04, 27 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you’re waiting for *NSYNC to announce a breakup, you’ll be waiting until 2047. They don’t announce breakups like other bands—they never even officially announced their first one in the 2000s. So if you’re expecting them to declare that they’re no longer together, you’ll be waiting a very long time. In November, JC Chasez made a statement about new music, and nothing in it suggested any plans for the coming years. I added several new statements to improve the chronology and verifiability of Celebrity Album/ Hiatus section of the *NSYNC entry. Existing material related to Joey Fatone’s podcast interview, Lance Bass’ memoir, and Bass’ podcast interview will remain unchanged. The new additions are limited to content supported by reliable secondary sources and are consistent with Wikipedia’s policies on verifiability (WP:V), reliable sourcing (WP:RS), and neutral point of view (WP:NPOV).

New material added:

A 2004 statement from Lance Bass published by Fox News columnist Roger Friedman, in which Lance commented on the group’s status at that time.
A 2007 Orlando Sentinel article in which Lance stated that the group was “definitely broken up.”
New material from the Paramount+ documentary Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, including Chris Kirkpatrick’s reflections on the hiatus and Lance’s statement that the record label told the group to “come back in six months.”
