domain flipping is the act of purchasing a domain from a user and reselling it to other people (preferably buisnesses) at a marked up cost.

If you end up purchasing a domain, you might receive unsolicited e-mails and messages from domain flippers trying to buy your domain off you. Not all domain flipping offers are scam offers automatically, but it is important to exercise caution.

• WinnerWind has received several e-mails in the past from domain flippers. Some of these e-mails were not even formatted properly, and sometimes referred to his domain as a "business", despite no indication for that. The best course of action, according to him, is to ignore and trash these e-mails. Replying back increased the level of spam.
