“Random Communit” shows a lot of dead communities and only the same 5

Describe the bug
When clicking the Random Community button in the search menu, most of the time I get a blank/dead community. If I pull-to-refresh enough times (about 7), I start to notice that it is showing me the same communities. Even if I wait days between tries I still get the same communities.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to the search tab
2. Click on “Random Communities”
3. Pull to refresh the page a few times
4. See the same empty communities

Expected behavior
Different communities every time, preferably at random.
