For the interview, went well imo. Nothing catastrophic happened :)
Shipped a quick side project that I wanted to use myself, todo list with a MCP connection so I can easily manage what Claude is doing. Sure, there are probably thousands of tools out there that do exactly that. But it was a great learning opportunity.
And now back onto Old Light!
Added ingame full galaxy map view with search functionality. So now you can always find any other player quickly on the map.

I was planning to share this as my win last week, but I haven't been very active on DEV recently. Now that I'm slowly getting back, I wanted to share it this week instead.
One thing I'm really happy about is finally launching the Dev Opportunity Radar website as part of the DEV Weekend Challenge. The challenge gave me the push to finally build something I'd been wanting to create for quite a while.

The website brings together all the previous editions, opportunities, Community Finds, and Reader Updates into one place, making it much easier to browse and search through everything. That said, it doesn't replace the weekly DEV posts. Dev Opportunity Radar will continue to be published here every Friday, and the website is simply a companion to make it easier to explore past editions over time.
I also want to say a big thank you to the DEV Team for running the challenge. Without it, I probably would've kept telling myself, "I'll build it next week" 😅
More importantly, this website wouldn't exist without the support of this community. From the very first edition, you've shared opportunities, suggested resources, contributed Community Finds, celebrated each other's wins, and encouraged me to keep the series going. My win this week was seeing a post I shared last week continue to resonate with people. It was a little different from my usual technical posts. I wrote about how gardening has changed the way I approach debugging, and reading everyone's stories about how they find their own moments of clarity was the best part. Seeing it reach the DEV Top 7 made it even more special. 😊 Thank you to everyone who took the time to read it and share your thoughts.

Discovered Qoder. Honestly, all my achievements this week pale in comparison to how much it opened my eyes. If you havent tried it yet, please do. It's an agentic IDE from a Singapore company, that's deeply integrated with Alibaba. They have honestly game-changing features like Better-Loop, Better-Harness, Security checks, Generate Wikis, all features that every agentic IDE should have! Take Wikis for instance, it generates the Wikis for your codebase, including knowledge cards, which it uses to keep the model context tiny and prevent drift. Over 100 prompts later, it still adheres to the instruction I gave it on the first prompt... That's something Claude cant do. And with the Qwen 3.8 Max discount and the free Pro-trial (No payment details required), you can get around 50k LOC worth of work done for free on just that, then there's the Lite model, which honestly blew my mind... Entirely free, with a monthly quota, but the amount of work you can get done with it is insane! They're also throwing freebies till the 30th, every 2 days it refreshes with 1k 'Ultimate' calls, which translates to around $100 worth of free 3T model calls every 2 days...
It blew my mind that I never heard of them before, nor ever thought to question whether Eastern IDEs and Models could actually compete with the likes of Claude, Codex, Cursor, Antigravity, CoPilot, etc. And now my opinion is thoroughly grounded. Qoder is better than all of them. Which provider actually gives you up to date (as in to the minute), billing breakdown, even during trial, showing you exactly how much each step would have cost you, both with and without the discount. The transparency and genuinely useful features is the reason why I decided to sign a subscription to test it out more thoroughly.
So lemme share my win of the week. Download Qoder, just use sign in with google, no need for anything else. Then give it a try yourself. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
