Woohoo, good luck!
A haunted terminal that digs through git history and tells you why a suspicious line exists would be fun. Especially when the ghost turns out to be your own commit from three years ago. Bonus points if it cites the commit before accusing you 😂
😅😂
I tried to brought back, Ghost of BASIC language, which was one of the first programming language I learned.

Just published my Week 4 submission: GitSéance — An Offline Digital Ofrenda Where Local Gemma Summons Deleted Code (And Refuses to Guess Why It Died)! 🌼🕯️💀
git blameonly speaks for the living, so I built an offline git archaeologist powered by local Gemma 2 2B (temperature=0.25) that mines deleted functions fromgit log -p, places them on a marigold altar with Web Audio chimes, and uses a deterministic pre-flight guardrail + Sentry Agent Tracing so the model never fabricates fake stories when a commit message just says"wip cleanup".Bonus Easter Egg for anyone who loves source code tricks: if you run
python3 git_seance.py --mictlanor typemictlanon the live web altar, the code inspects its own AST in memory (#000dead) and decodes a hidden hex relic!🔗 Read the write-up & try the Quine: dev.to/fgrandon/gitseance-an-offli...
Would love feedback from anyone else testing compact local models on messy git history! Happy Halloween & Día de los Muertos! 🎃🌼
All the best to those who'll participate! 👻
And to those like me, who'd love to participate, but may not get enough time! 🫠🥰
I made an offline AI horror mystery game that uses local language and voice AI to generate character dialogues, plot and riddles. Built using three.js that runs in the browser using Ollama with Gemma and Piper for voices. Do check it out here and enjoy!

Hey everyone! Just published my submission for Week 4: GitNecromancer (💀🔮).
It's a small tool and gothic web dashboard that scans your repo for abandoned branches, lets local Gemma 2 2B hold a 'séance' where the dead code speaks in the first person to explain why it died, and either generates a resurrection patch or writes an epitaph in OFRENDA.md before safely deleting it.
Article: gitnecromancer
Live Demo: render
Curious to hear what the oldest dead branch haunting your repos is right now! 🪦🕯️
Hey guys! Here is my entry for this week, check it out 👻
Feed the Gargoyle: a cursed stone imp that guards a bowl of sweets. It sees you coming, asks you a riddle, listens for your answer and pays out candy if you get it right. Get it wrong and it cackles and lets you try again. All offline on an Arduino UNO Q.

Would love to hear what you think!
What if the internet is a graveyard—and every broken link is a ghost waiting to tell its story? 👻🕸️
I built Web Séance, an AI-powered digital archaeology tool that explores the forgotten corners of the early web using the Internet Archive and local Gemma 3:4b.
It retrieves historical webpage captures, extracts actual outgoing hyperlinks, assigns traceable Evidence IDs, and visualizes those connections as a network graph. Then Gemma steps in as a local AI historian, helping interpret the evidence while keeping confirmed facts, plausible hypotheses, and unknowns separate.
No pretending a hyperlink proves friendship. No inventing stories to fill historical gaps. Just digital archaeology, archival evidence, and a little AI-assisted curiosity. 🕯️

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from anyone interested in digital archaeology, local AI models, and preserving forgotten internet culture.
Happy Hacktoberfest & Happy Halloween! 🎃🕷️

Oops, am in
good luck!
终于找到组织了,我是新人,但我会长期活跃。
Woohoo, good luck!
Hello, I’m new here. Wishing everyone the best of luck.
Good Luck~
Here is my submission

Wohoo
The strongest projects will probably be the ones that balance a creative idea with a clear technical reason for using open models.
A spooky demo might catch attention, but showing how the model works, where it struggles, and what the developer learned could make the submission much more convincing.
🎃 I built Ghost in the Log — a Halloween log investigation you can play in the browser. Pick a fictional incident case, and a live open-weight AI (Muse Spark Open via Baseten) reads the numbered logs and proposes a cause, always citing evidence line numbers and stating what it doesn't know.
Try it live: ghost-in-the-log.vercel.app/
